The best experience is someone else's

The relationship documented in the bilbe about Ruth and Naomi is one I would like for us all to learn from. Everybody needs somebody. Naomi had lost everything she had - but so had Ruth. The two of them decided to walk it together. I believe we can all benefit from another woman's advice, help, nuture and wisdom. Ruth eventually gained the life that she wanted but she did not do it alone. Without the help of Naomi I'm sure she would have made some Young and Dumb mistake all of us have made. The guy who got away, the marriage we didnt't fight for, the man we let beat us, the child's life we took.

So many times I wonder if I would have wasted so many years foolishly if I had someone to talk to me. Not yell, not criticize, not undermine - just talk. Talk quietly with love. Some Maya Angelou, Some Oprah, Some Tyra - just loving me and talking. Well that's what we will attempt to cultivate on this page. You ask a question or tell a story and someone else who's already been there and done that will respond and just talk. Because experience is not the best teacher - someone else's experience is.
